Getting a plan is the easy part. Leading the team while everything keeps moving is harder.
- "I still take on the hardest calls myself instead of coaching someone else through them."
- "I feel like I have to have the answer every time my team brings me something."
- "My old peers don't see me as their manager."
- "I promoted someone for their skill and now I'm not sure I can manage them."
- "One of my reps is coasting and I keep telling myself it'll sort itself out."
- "My best salesperson won't listen to me."
- "I run every decision past my manager before I'll commit to it."
- "I second-guess calls I used to make without thinking twice."
- "I'm still doing everyone's deals."
- "My team brings me problems instead of solutions, and I end up solving them anyway."
- "If I take a day off, everything seems to slow down."

That's not a failure of planning. It's what actually happens in the months after you're promoted — and it's exactly when a plan on its own stops being enough.
Because the plan is only the beginning.
Coaching is built around two 60-minute 1:1 conversations a month — not generic check-ins, working sessions on whatever's actually happening in your team right now.
Every 90 days, we retake the assessment together, so progress isn't a feeling — it's something you can actually see.
- Two 60-minute 1:1 coaching sessions every month
- The assessment, retaken every 90 days
- A living action plan, updated as your priorities change
- The Sales to Leader frameworks, brought in as they're needed — including C.S.B.I.A. for performance conversations and Catch the Rain for building team ownership
Every 90 days, the assessment tracks the same four areas — so progress is something you can see, not just something that feels true.

Coaching is that same commitment, sustained — someone in your corner for the months where the real questions actually show up.
- You're new to sales leadership, or established and ready to lead more deliberately
- You want an actual plan, not just a place to talk through your week
- You're prepared to be held to what you said you'd do
- You already have a coach or mentor supporting your leadership, and it's working
- You're looking for sales technique or deal coaching, not leadership support
- You want materials to work through alone, not a coached relationship you're accountable to
No generic coaching calls. No pretending the plan you made on day one still covers everything that's come up since.
I take on a small number of coaching clients at a time, so each one gets proper attention.
Just someone in your corner while you actually live through it.
No. Coaching starts with its own assessment and 90-day plan, so you don't need to have done Foundations first. If you have, that work carries straight in rather than being repeated.
Often, yes. Most businesses have some budget for developing sales managers, and coaching through exactly this kind of transition is a reasonable, specific ask — easier to approve than a vague "training" request. If your employer is paying, mention it on the discovery call so we can structure things for a company-funded arrangement. I'm also happy to invoice your employer directly, or give you a short outline of what's included to take to your manager or L&D team.
That's exactly what the free discovery call is for — we'll make sure the fit is right before you commit. Once we start, we'll review what's working openly and adjust the coaching around what you actually need.
If you attend your sessions and put in the work we agree on between them, and your assessment score hasn't moved by the month-three retake, your fourth month is free. It's not a promise that leadership gets easier on its own — it's a commitment that if you show up for your side of it, you won't pay for a quarter that hasn't moved you forward.
Foundations is a single focused session plus one follow-up — direction and a plan. Coaching is ongoing 1:1 support while you put the plan into practice, not just the planning stage.
